L'Acadèmia de la música americana ha decidit posposar els Premis Grammy 2022 per a més endavant. La gala estava prevista inicialment pel 31 de gener a l' Staples Center de Los Angeles , però finalment s'ha confirmat el canvi de data. A causa de l'augment dels casos d' Ómicron , ara els Grammy 2022 se celebraran el proper 3 d'abril al MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas . Al mateix temps, aquest canvi ha obligat també als premis CMT Music Awards , a moure també la seva data. Els premis de la música s'havien d'emetre, igual que els Grammy , a través de la CBS, el 3 d'abril , i ara es mouràn a un altre dia també del mateix mes, encara sense confirmar-se la data.
